Description

  • Coordinate day-to-day support for community foundations, fundraising accounts, and philanthropic service partners.
  • Maintain partner records, workflows, reporting schedules, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate donor and partner communications, including onboarding, updates, reporting inputs, and follow-up actions.
  • Research prospects, track opportunities, and maintain pipelines and contact records to support partnership development.
  • Help coordinate events, meetings, campaigns, and engagement activities that strengthen partnerships and stewardship.
  • Support the delivery of community philanthropy initiatives, learning activities, and network engagement.
  • Maintain accurate systems, templates, and administrative processes across philanthropic services and business development.
  • Track delivery milestones, deadlines, and reporting requirements to ensure commitments are met.
  • Provide capability-building support to community philanthropy partners.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Finance, Grants, Communications, and Partnerships to support smooth delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of rural and regional communities and community-led approaches.
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with external partners and internal teams.
  • Ability to coordinate community initiatives, events, and engagement activities.
  • Experience supporting partnership development, including researching prospects and tracking opportunities.
  • Confidence working with systems, data, and evolving technology, including AI tools.
  • Relevant qualification in community development, social sciences, philanthropy, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Desirable: experience building or improving systems and processes to support program delivery.
  • Desirable: experience working with rural, regional, or community-based initiatives.
  • Desirable: experience supporting events, learning activities, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Desirable: experience supporting partnership development.

  • SCHADS Award Level 4 salary of $92,279–$99,294 FTE, approximately $73,823–$79,435 pro-rata at 0.8 FTE.
