Description

  • Build and maintain new product features across the Sezzle platform.
  • Collaborate with feature owners and engineers to refine product ideas and improve solutions.
  • Participate in design and architecture discussions for next-generation features.
  • Contribute directly to the codebase and participate in code reviews.
  • Work with the team to design, develop, and deliver new features.
  • Help build and deploy scalable solutions continuously.
  • Assist with project planning, estimation, and completion with team stakeholders.
  • Mentor engineers who are earlier in their careers.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience for this mid-level development role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (required).
  • Experience solving technical problems as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development, with React experience preferred.
  • Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages such as Go or another compiled, statically typed language.
  • Intermediate understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Knowledge of automated testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API principles and design.
  • Basic knowledge of microservice architecture.
  • Close familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodology, and release processes.
