Description

  • Design software applications and features in Golang and React.
  • Build and support distributed architecture solutions that scale reliably.
  • Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and other engineering teams on feature design and delivery.
  • Develop features and improvements for internal and customer-facing products.
  • Collect and use metrics to drive continuous improvement of existing products.
  • Deliver high-quality, testable features that meet reporting standards.
  • Lead small development teams when needed to bring projects to market.
  • Mentor engineering teammates and help elevate their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
  • 8+ years of experience aligns with the senior compensation band.
  • Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go, preferably, or Java, Python, or a similar language.
  • Experience working in distributed, cloud-based architecture.
  • Experience with transactional outbox patterns or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
  • BS in Computer Science or a similar degree.
  • Experience with SQL-based RDBMS through an ORM tool, preferred.
  • Comfort with observability platforms such as Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog, preferred.
  • DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferred.
  • Familiarity with containerized microservice architecture deployed with Kubernetes on AWS, preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering commercial APIs and web applications, preferred.
  • Experience getting products to market and prioritizing solutions based on stakeholder or customer feedback, preferred.
