Description

  • Own and build new features for the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage mobile releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to support safe rollout to millions of active users.
  • Partner with product, design, business, backend, and QA teams to ensure stakeholder needs are understood and met.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code with the team.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the application, data domain, and KPIs.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements through design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to technical decisions.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews focused on maintainability, clarity, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 2+ years in React Native or similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience with native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C and native Android development using Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience developing and delivering mobile applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing using tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
  • Preferred experience writing automated tests and implementing them in a CI environment.
  • Preferred ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Preferred familiarity with microservice architectures composed of HTTP APIs.
  • Preferred experience working with native code on iOS and Android.
