Description

  • Own and build new features in a cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage mobile releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to support safe rollouts.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to meet requirements and expectations.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code with the team.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the application, data domain, and key performance indicators.
  • Lead features end to end from requirements and design through deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and help elevate team code quality.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews focused on maintainability, clarity, and best practices.
  • Drive technical decisions and propose improvements across the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 2+ years with React Native or similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience with native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C and native Android development using Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience developing and shipping a mobile application to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
  • Experience mentoring junior or mid-level engineers.
  • Ability to lead features end to end from requirements through deployment and monitoring.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
  • Preferred: Experience writing automated tests and implementing them in a CI environment.
  • Preferred: Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with microservice architectures composed of HTTP APIs.
  • Preferred: Experience working with native iOS and Android code.
