Description

  • Own and build new features in the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage mobile releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to ensure safe rollouts to millions of users.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, business, backend, and QA partners to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code with the team.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the application, data domain, and key business metrics.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements and design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews with attention to maintainability, clarity, and best practices.
  • Drive technical decisions and propose improvements that raise team code quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile development experience.
  • At least 2+ years of experience with React Native or similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience with native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C.
  • Experience with native Android development using Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience developing and releasing mobile applications to Apple and Google app stores.
  • Strong understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD tools such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  • Preferred: ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Preferred: familiarity with microservice architecture and HTTP APIs.
  • Preferred: experience writing automated tests and implementing them in a CI environment.
  • Preferred: experience working with native code on iOS and Android.
