Description

  • Help own and build new features for the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to ensure safe rollouts.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with product, design, and business stakeholders.
  • Build clean, scalable, robust, and testable code with the team.
  • Develop deep working knowledge of the application, data domain, and KPIs.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements through deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Drive technical decisions and propose improvements that raise code quality across the team.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews with a focus on maintainability, clarity, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior or mid-level engineers.
  • Collaborate with backend teams and QA to deliver mobile features and improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile development experience.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in React Native or similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience working with native iOS code using Swift or Objective-C.
  • Experience working with native Android code using Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience developing and delivering mobile applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
  • Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science.
  • Preferred: ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Preferred: familiarity with microservice architectures composed of HTTP APIs.
  • Preferred: experience implementing automated tests in a CI environment.
  • Preferred: experience working with native code on iOS and Android.
  • Preferred: experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical leadership.
