Description

  • Own and build new features for the cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage mobile releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to support safe rollouts.
  • Collaborate with product, design, business, backend, and QA teams to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code across the product stack.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the application, data domain, and key performance indicators.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements and design through implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews and help improve maintainability, clarity, and engineering best practices.
  • Mentor junior or mid-level engineers and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Support automated testing efforts across unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage.
  • Work with mobile CI/CD and release tooling to support reliable delivery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional mobile development experience, including at least 2+ years with React Native or similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience with native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C.
  • Experience with native Android development using Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience developing and shipping a mobile application to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, and Appium.
  • Experience mentoring junior or mid-level engineers.
  • Ability to lead features end-to-end from requirements through monitoring and improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
  • Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
  • Preferred: experience writing automated tests and implementing them in a CI environment.
  • Preferred: ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
  • Preferred: familiarity with microservice architectures composed of HTTP APIs.
  • Preferred: experience working with native iOS and Android code.
