Description

  • Help own and build new features in a cross-platform TypeScript React Native app and Golang backend APIs.
  • Manage releases using cohorting, feature flags, and app store infrastructure to support safe rollouts to millions of active users.
  • Collaborate with product, design, business, backend, and QA teams to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Write clean, scalable, robust, and testable code.
  • Develop deep working knowledge of the application, data domain, and KPIs.
  • Lead features end-to-end from requirements through design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and improvement.
  • Perform high-quality code reviews with a focus on maintainability, clarity, and best practices.
  • Drive technical decisions and propose improvements that raise team-wide code quality.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of professional mobile development experience.
  • At least 6+ months of experience with React Native or similar technology such as Flutter.
  • Experience developing and shipping a mobile application to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend development.
  • Deep understanding of React Native architecture, hooks, context, navigation patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Strong familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing using tools such as Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or Appium.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools; candidates must be comfortable using AI to improve productivity, research, and communication.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Preferred: Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go, Python, Java, or similar.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with microservice architectures composed of HTTP APIs.
  • Preferred: Experience working with native code on iOS.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
