Description

  • Act as the primary technical interface with the client to understand business needs, future initiatives, and technical requirements.
  • Define the overall system architecture for the catalog value stream, including microservice boundaries, communication patterns, and technology choices.
  • Develop and communicate the long-term architectural vision and ensure alignment with organizational and business strategy.
  • Contribute to the client’s long-term technical roadmap and assess the feasibility and implications of technology decisions.
  • Identify and address conflicts and dependencies between the catalog value stream and other value streams.
  • Define system-wide security and compliance standards to meet regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Set high-level tooling and automation standards to improve consistency and efficiency across teams.
  • Evaluate proposed technologies for compatibility, scalability, and long-term viability and present recommendations.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and alignment within the catalog value stream.
  • Create high-level architectural diagrams, documentation, and guidance for architecture-impacting changes and strategic refactoring.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in systems architecture design for large-scale, global B2B applications.
  • Proven ability to act as a primary technical interface with clients.
  • Strong experience defining overall system architecture, including microservice boundaries, communication patterns, and technology choices.
  • Deep knowledge of Android and iOS as primary mobile development languages.
  • Strong experience with KMM for mobile app modernization.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, including cloud-native architecture, managed services, and platform capabilities.
  • Experience defining security and compliance standards at a system-wide level.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, particularly with Azure DevOps.
  • Strong communication skills in English for interaction with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive cross-team alignment and collaborate with engineering leadership.
  • Knowledge of non-functional requirements such as performance, security, scalability, privacy, and GDPR (preferred).
  • Knowledge of design patterns, Clean Architecture, and Clean Coding principles (preferred).
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven architecture (preferred).
  • Knowledge of distributed systems for global, high-availability B2B applications (preferred).
  • Familiarity with API design and integration best practices (preferred).
  • Exposure to AI/ML frameworks or platforms such as Azure OpenAI or LangChain (preferred).
  • Knowledge of automated testing strategies at an architectural level (preferred).
