Description

  • Design, build, and maintain Salesforce features for the VA Loan Guaranty Service.
  • Develop custom Salesforce applications, components, and integrations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and API services.
  • Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Implement business logic, workflows, triggers, and automation.
  • Build and maintain secure, scalable integrations with external systems.
  • Validate Apex callouts, Named Credentials, object mapping defects, and permission set configurations.
  • Monitor Salesforce debug logs, assist with troubleshooting, and provide technical support for deployed solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, release management, and production deployments.
  • Maintain technical documentation, design artifacts, and deployment procedures.
  • Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices and federal security and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of Salesforce or relevant software development experience, or Associate’s degree plus 7 years, or High School Diploma/GED plus 9 years.
  • Ability to obtain VA Public Trust Clearance.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I and Salesforce Administrator certification, or the ability to obtain them within 90 days.
  • Hands-on OmniStudio experience.
  • Platform Developer II, Advanced Administrator, or Salesforce App Builder certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting federal government agencies or working in a consulting environment preferred.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce deployments using structured DevOps and CI/CD practices such as Copado, Gearset, or Git-based workflows preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security, compliance, and FedRAMP requirements preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
