Description

  • Set the architectural vision and roadmap for managed customer engagements and define where each solution is going and why.
  • Provide architectural continuity across the full engagement lifecycle so direction and context carry through every phase and handoff.
  • Serve as the primary reference point for architecture and solution direction for customers and internal teams.
  • Identify and bring in the deep specialists needed for each engagement, or provide that depth directly where applicable.
  • Shape the transition from sales to delivery, including solution intent, staffing needs, and kickoff direction.
  • Partner with the Technical Program Manager on delivery planning, governance, milestones, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Review key technical decisions during delivery and ensure the build stays aligned to the roadmap and design.
  • Lead solution design and contribute technical content to Statements of Work and delivery-readiness reviews.
  • Build trusted relationships with technical and executive stakeholders and advise on architecture, change management, and account growth.
  • Create reusable architecture assets, contribute thought leadership content, and mentor other delivery and solution roles.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions architecture, or delivery leadership, or 5 years with a Master's degree.
  • Experience shaping and directing complex, multi-workstream engagements.
  • Experience working with program management on plan and governance.
  • Experience guiding customers through significant technology and process change, including change-management strategy.
  • Experience mentoring consultants or architects and knowing when to bring in specialist expertise.
  • Experience delivering enterprise Atlassian solutions with security, access control, and governance requirements at scale.
  • Strong experience in one or more of: Enterprise Service Management, Delivery Governance, Enterprise Strategy & Planning, World-Class Software Development, Cloud Migration, or AI and the System of Work.
  • Relevant certifications in Enterprise Architecture, ITIL Expert, SAFe, DevOps, Prosci Change Management, or program/delivery management such as PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP.
  • Multiple Atlassian certifications, such as ACP or Atlassian Certified Master, are highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of Atlassian integrations, cloud architecture (AWS, Azure), SSO and identity management, APIs, and web technologies.
