Description

  • Partner with the Territory Business Leader to develop territory plans and strategies that meet or exceed goals.
  • Execute clinical selling strategies within assigned accounts.
  • Assess referrals to confirm product-use criteria are met for people with diabetes.
  • Provide product education and training to users of Sequel products and healthcare providers.
  • Drive healthcare provider adoption and confidence through clinical education, product demonstrations, and certification training.
  • Facilitate virtual product training sessions and educational webinars.
  • Communicate user feedback cross-functionally to help solve problems and improve product development.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience.
  • Participate in conventions, educational forums, and professional meetings to increase product awareness.
  • Manage leads, opportunities, and training documentation in the customer relations database.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local patient advocacy groups and diabetes organizations.
  • For Senior CDS roles, mentor junior staff, assist with field sales and clinical training, and participate in advisory boards.

Requirements

  • Valid professional license in one or more of the following fields: RN, RD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred; required for the Senior CDS role.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education, with strong experience using diabetes technology preferred.
  • 4+ years of clinical diabetes education experience required for the Senior CDS role.
  • Experience coordinating and conducting diabetes device education in the medical device industry preferred.
  • Candidate must live within the assigned geography.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to answer patient and provider questions in real time.
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of diabetes products and therapies.
  • Valid driver’s license required, with ability to travel extensively by car and occasionally overnight.
  • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
  • For Senior CDS roles, top-tier performance history, leadership or mentoring experience, industry conference participation, career progression, and sales or sales-partner success are required/preferred.
