Description

  • Partner with the Territory Business Leader to develop territory plans and strategies that meet or exceed goals.
  • Execute clinical selling activities within assigned accounts.
  • Assess product referrals to confirm patient eligibility for product use.
  • Deliver product education and training for people with diabetes and healthcare providers.
  • Drive healthcare provider adoption by demonstrating clinical benefits and product use.
  • Certify healthcare providers to conduct product training for patients.
  • Lead virtual training sessions, webinars, conventions, and educational forums to increase product awareness.
  • Communicate user feedback cross-functionally to help solve problems and improve product development.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience.
  • Manage leads, opportunities, and training documentation in the customer relations database.
  • Maintain relationships with patient advocacy groups and diabetes organizations such as ADA, ADCES, and Breakthrough T1D.
  • For Senior CDS roles, assist with field sales and clinical training, mentor junior staff, participate in advisory boards, and lead team calls as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid professional license in one or more of the following: RN, RD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist.
  • CDCES certification preferred for the CDS role; required for the Senior CDS role.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education, with strong experience using diabetes technology preferred.
  • 4+ years of clinical diabetes education experience required for the Senior CDS role.
  • Experience coordinating and conducting diabetes device education in the medical device industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of high performance in previous roles.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to answer patient and healthcare provider questions in real time.
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of diabetes products and therapies.
  • Must live within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to carry and transport samples and literature and to travel extensively by car, including overnight travel.
  • For Senior CDS roles: top-tier performance (top 25%), clinical metrics success in the medical device industry, leadership or mentoring experience, conference representation experience, demonstrated career progression, strategic problem-solving ability, and success in sales or sales partnership roles.
