Description

  • Partner with the Territory Business Leader to develop territory plans and strategies that meet or exceed goals.
  • Deliver clinical education, product training, and product demonstrations to people with diabetes and healthcare providers.
  • Assess referrals and determine whether people with diabetes meet criteria for product use.
  • Drive healthcare provider adoption and confidence in Sequel products through education and clinical selling strategies.
  • Certify healthcare providers to conduct product training for people with diabetes.
  • Facilitate virtual training sessions and educational webinars.
  • Communicate user feedback cross-functionally to help solve problems and improve product development.
  • Collaborate with customer care and sales support to improve the user experience.
  • Manage leads, opportunities, and training documentation in the CRM and required systems.
  • Represent Sequel at conventions, educational forums, patient advocacy groups, and professional diabetes organizations.

Requirements

  • Valid professional license in one or more of the following: RN, RD, PA, NP, or Pharmacist.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating and conducting diabetes education.
  • Strong experience with the technical use of diabetes technology preferred.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) preferred.
  • Must live within the assigned geography.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to carry and transport professional samples and literature.
  • Ability to commute extensively by car and travel overnight when needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • For the Senior Clinical Diabetes Specialist role: CDCES certification required.
  • For the Senior Clinical Diabetes Specialist role: 4+ years of clinical diabetes education experience.
  • For the Senior Clinical Diabetes Specialist role: experience coordinating and conducting diabetes device education in the medical device industry preferred.
  • For the Senior Clinical Diabetes Specialist role: top-tier performance and demonstrated clinical metric success preferred.
  • For the Senior Clinical Diabetes Specialist role: experience in leadership, mentoring, field sales training, or advisory board participation preferred.
  • For the Senior Clinical Diabetes Specialist role: experience representing an organization at industry conferences preferred.
