Description

  • Own end-to-end delivery, operational health, quality, and roadmap commitments for the Agent Platform domain.
  • Lead reliability improvements by reducing incidents, closing corrective actions on time, and strengthening observability.
  • Manage and develop four engineering managers across the Czech Republic, Israel, India, and the United States.
  • Represent the domain in executive forums, incident communications, and customer discussions with enterprise, MSSP, and federal customers.
  • Partner with agent, endpoint, SaaS Platform architecture, Product Management, and SRE teams on cross-domain outcomes.
  • Lead the transition from a monolithic control plane to regional, horizontally scalable services and a modern container-based deployment model.
  • Maintain existing platform reliability throughout the re-architecture.
  • Plan capacity and headcount, balancing reliability, modernization, and feature-delivery priorities.
  • Grow senior engineering capability and leadership depth in US business hours.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the EST or CST time zone.
  • Typically 12+ years of software engineering experience in a SaaS or cloud infrastructure environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading multiple teams through engineering managers.
  • Experience leading distributed engineering teams across time zones and cultures.
  • Experience operating high-availability SaaS platforms, including incident command, root-cause analysis, SLOs, and reliability improvement programs.
  • Strong technical background in large-scale distributed backend systems, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, data stores, and multi-tenancy.
  • Experience managing managers, hiring senior engineers, and strengthening inherited organizations.
  • Demonstrated predictable delivery, planning, ownership, and execution discipline.
  • Ability to communicate transparently with executives and represent engineering credibly with customers.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; security domain experience is preferred.
