Description

  • Engage with local agricultural communities, events, growers, advisors, and retailers as a trusted resource.
  • Educate prospects and customers on agronomy practices and Semios + Agworld products during pre-sales conversations.
  • Conduct consultations and field visits to assess customer needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and provide in-season customer support.
  • Serve as a technical advisor during pre-sales meetings, product demonstrations, and customer reviews.
  • Support installation verification, field validation, and basic troubleshooting of Semios solutions.
  • Interpret and support customer use of agronomic and sensor data from Semios Hub.
  • Train internal sales teams on product features, benefits, and applications.
  • Lead webinars, workshops, training sessions, and other educational content for customers and internal teams.
  • Prepare after-action reports, regional updates, end-of-season reports, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, horticulture, viticulture, environmental science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical agronomic support or a related field within the agriculture industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Strong understanding of crop production cycles and best management practices.
  • Experience with irrigation systems, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Experience using on-farm sensors and remote sensing data applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret agronomic and sensor data to support recommendations.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Experience with product training and educational content development.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, FS, Product, and CSS teams.
  • CCA certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • CAIS and/or CID certifications are encouraged but not required.
