Description

  • Collaborate closely with the development team to deliver high-quality software.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements for testing and automation.
  • Perform automated functional and performance testing for web or mobile applications.
  • Design and develop the test automation framework and implement required libraries.
  • Create automated test suites, including building suites from scratch in the existing environment.
  • Maintain CI pipelines and integrate automated scripts into CI tools.
  • Monitor, manage, and drive resolution of issues throughout the testing process.
  • Improve software delivery and product quality across the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Participate actively in the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
  • Practical experience with automation testing in Java, including Selenium, REST Assured, or similar tools for mobile automation.
  • Experience testing functional GUI and API workflows.
  • Experience writing queries for SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience working in agile software development methodologies and testing procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience with large-scale data migration and ETL testing is a plus.
  • Previous experience testing financial management systems or working in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter or K6 is a plus.
