Description

  • Own information architecture across all product surfaces, including both new platform builds and legacy areas.
  • Audit existing UX structures, identify fracture points, and resolve them with a long-term foundation in mind.
  • Set and enforce cross-swimlane UX standards across the product design organization.
  • Review prototypes as a structural integrity checkpoint before work progresses.
  • Champion and uphold a blueprint-first design process and ensure outputs meet UX and IA standards.
  • Coach the design team and model strong structural thinking to raise overall design quality.
  • Partner closely with the AI product team to build a scalable UX foundation for intelligent product experiences.
  • Maintain platform integrity across current and future builds while progressively improving legacy areas.
  • Transfer UX architecture knowledge throughout the design org to reduce structural debt and rework.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on and/or managerial UX experience.
  • Deep expertise in information architecture and structural or systems-level SaaS design.
  • Proven experience owning IA across complex, multi-surface products, including legacy or fractured structures.
  • Ability to set standards and influence multiple teams horizontally without direct authority.
  • Experience establishing design processes, review practices, and reusable patterns or component foundations at scale.
  • Fluency partnering with Product and Engineering on AI or platform-level initiatives.
  • Strong judgment around when aesthetics support structure versus mask a weak foundation.
  • Excellent communication, patience, and feedback-giving skills.
  • Engineering experience with JSON, CSS, or C++ is a plus.
  • Python or machine-learning background is a plus.
