Description

  • Own features end to end, from understanding user problems and defining product flows to shipping polished interfaces.
  • Design high-fidelity experiences and implement them in production front-end code.
  • Build coded prototypes and use AI tools to explore and validate interactions quickly.
  • Translate intent signals, agent outputs, dashboards, and other dense data into clear, decision-oriented interfaces.
  • Design marketer workflows, including the experience of reviewing AI recommendations and approving actions.
  • Set and maintain high standards for typography, color, spacing, hierarchy, motion, loading states, errors, and empty states.
  • Scale the design system and establish reusable patterns that support fast, consistent implementation.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, founders, business stakeholders, and users through prototypes, demos, narratives, and design reviews.

Requirements

  • Strong visual design judgment, including typography, color, hierarchy, and the ability to explain design decisions.
  • Ability to design and code products from concept through production without relying on handoffs.
  • Experience with product design fundamentals including information architecture, user flows, and UX decision-making.
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools such as Cursor, v0, Claude, Figma AI, or similar in design and development workflows.
  • Portfolio of polished, shipped product work with code samples or live prototypes.
  • Front-end proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS or Tailwind.
  • Ability to simplify complex workflows and high volumes of data into intuitive interfaces.
  • Clear communication skills across business and engineering audiences, including facilitating design reviews.
  • Comfort working in 0-to-1 environments with shifting priorities and a high bar for speed.
  • Distinctive illustration, art direction, animation, or motion design skills are preferred.
