Description

  • Define UX principles, practices, and standards for Star Trek Fleet Command.
  • Own end-to-end UX design for new features and player experiences, from concepts through implementation.
  • Build deep game knowledge and apply player perspectives to design decisions.
  • Research references and comparable products to identify inspiration and potential pitfalls.
  • Create sketches, wireframes, user flows, and interactive UX prototypes.
  • Critically evaluate designs to identify weaknesses, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with product teams, game designers, and artists throughout development.
  • Use feedback, data, and other insights to refine designs and make intentional improvements.
  • Promote long-term product and UX consistency through established design principles and patterns.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience specializing in game UX development.
  • Track record of delivering game features or initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify next steps and blockers, and take initiative.
  • Solutions-oriented approach with strong creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of game development pipelines, technical constraints, implementation realities, and cross-discipline workflows.
  • Curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and a genuine passion for playing and making games.
  • Experience creating UX sketches, wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
  • Résumé/CV must be submitted in English.
