Description

  • Lead design strategy and execution for complex initiatives spanning teams, product surfaces, and customer workflows.
  • Translate customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, data, and product strategy into experience direction.
  • Partner with product and engineering leaders to clarify problems, sequence work, and align teams on outcomes.
  • Create prototypes, workflows, interaction models, and high-fidelity designs for complex product concepts.
  • Identify experience gaps, design debt, and cross-team inconsistencies and develop practical improvements.
  • Shape AI-enabled workflows, intelligent interfaces, and automation-heavy experiences.
  • Strengthen shared patterns, design-system adoption, accessibility standards, and implementation guidance.
  • Mentor senior and lead designers through critique, coaching, storytelling, and design rationale.
  • Collaborate across US and India time zones in a fully remote environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant product design experience leading complex, ambiguous, high-impact initiatives.
  • Portfolio demonstrating staff-level craft, product judgment, customer empathy, systems thinking, measurable impact, and shipped product quality; portfolio submission is required.
  • Experience shaping product direction across multiple teams or product areas and connecting adjacent workflows.
  • Exceptional visual and interaction design skills, including hierarchy, typography, layout, motion, usability, accessibility, content, and implementation detail.
  • Experience across research, information architecture, interaction and visual design, prototyping, content strategy, and usability testing.
  • Strong prototyping skills using Figma, Framer, AI coding tools, or lightweight front-end code.
  • Experience designing AI-powered, automation-heavy, or intelligent products with transparency, control, trust, and guidance.
  • Deep knowledge of design systems, accessibility standards, reusable patterns, and scalable product decisions.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • Collaborative, low-ego leadership style with experience mentoring designers and raising design standards.
