Description

  • Manage designers through 1:1s, performance reviews, career planning, and team-health initiatives.
  • Run and improve Agile design ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and design reviews.
  • Remain hands-on with end-to-end product design and provide regular critique to elevate team quality.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders on roadmaps, scope, priorities, and design strategy.
  • Integrate usability research and behavioral analytics into personas, journey maps, and design decisions.
  • Champion AI-augmented workflows using tools such as Figma AI and Claude.
  • Build growth plans, provide actionable feedback, and develop designers toward expanded scope and promotion.
  • Establish design workflows, tracking systems, feedback practices, and governance for the Design System.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of UX/Product Design experience, including 3+ years managing designers.
  • Experience running Agile ceremonies and integrating design into Scrum development cycles.
  • Senior-level, end-to-end product design experience from discovery through production handoff.
  • Advanced Figma proficiency, including component architecture, auto-layout, variables, and prototyping.
  • Experience building, governing, and scaling Design Systems.
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and experience embedding accessibility practices into workflows.
  • Experience using behavioral analytics such as FullStory, Pendo, or Amplitude and usability testing.
  • Strong stakeholder communication, design rationale, prioritization, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Preferred: Agile certification or Scrum Master/agile lead experience; B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise-platform experience; JIRA-based design tracking; AI-augmented design; and organizational transformation experience.

  • Estimated total compensation of $185,000–$230,000, including base salary and bonus.
