Description

  • Architect, design, and build scalable platform components using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and React.
  • Build and maintain distributed systems, real-time pipelines, and core microservices that support platform growth.
  • Lead code and architecture reviews to ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability standards are met.
  • Drive adoption of modern infrastructure practices, including CI/CD, containerization, ArgoCD, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
  • Own and deliver impactful projects end-to-end by translating business needs and R&D insights into scalable technical solutions.
  • Identify and implement improvements that reduce toil, improve developer workflows, and increase system resiliency.
  • Build systems for long-term sustainability while balancing delivery speed with technical excellence.
  • Participate in production support responsibilities.
  • Mentor engineers and help guide complex technical initiatives across platform, infrastructure, and automation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems, platform services, or infrastructure.
  • Expertise in Node.js and modern development patterns, including TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Experience designing and scaling distributed systems with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and production-grade deployments.
  • Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and containerization tools such as Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, and New Relic.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, systems design, and networking.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and helping teams grow.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or other security-focused platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with front-end development and full-stack delivery practices is a plus.
  • Experience building internal platforms, developer tools, or SDKs is a plus.
  • Background working with high-scale systems and large datasets is a plus.

  • Competitive salary with estimated total compensation of $160,000 - $185,000 base plus bonus.
