Description

  • Lead all aspects of PR and communications across consumer, industry, policy, investor, and internal channels.
  • Define, evolve, and embed a cohesive company narrative across SeatGeek and externally.
  • Partner with brand, creative, and product marketing to strengthen fan differentiation.
  • Position SeatGeek and its executives as thought leaders in the live events and technology space.
  • Balance in-house team capacity, external agencies, and operating tools to scale communications impact.
  • Serve as a strategic communications partner to the executive team on high-impact moments.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the communications team, including generalists and senior internal comms members.
  • Establish team operating rhythms, KPIs, tools, and structure to drive performance and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of experience growing within PR and communications roles.
  • Experience in corporate communications, policy communications, or investor relations is preferred.
  • Experience managing and mentoring an internal communications team across varying seniority levels.
  • Experience supplementing an internal team with external agencies or consultants when needed.
  • Track record of driving results for growth companies across corporate, business-to-business, and consumer audiences.
  • Experience with IPO-related, investor-facing, and board-facing communications is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in complex industries, with major competition, or in regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build narratives from complex situations and relevant information.
  • Success in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments with executive leaders, product teams, sales leaders, and reporters.
  • Goal-oriented, calm under pressure, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement.
