Description

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for customer financing across customer and employee experiences in the direct-to-consumer sales platform.
  • Define how customer-facing flows and internal tools work together to support assisted checkout, financing support, and exception handling.
  • Translate business goals such as conversion, approval speed, risk tolerance, and revenue into prioritized product outcomes and initiatives.
  • Lead integrations with third-party financial services providers, including lenders, banks, fintechs, and payment processors.
  • Define product requirements for financing offers, credit applications, approvals, disclosures, contracts, and funding workflows.
  • Serve as the primary product counterpart for external partners and align roadmaps, APIs, SLAs, and release plans.
  • Design and optimize the financing and checkout experience to reduce friction, improve transparency, and increase completion rates.
  • Define internal tools and workflows that help employees manage application status, stalled applications, exceptions, errors, manual reviews, compliance, and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal, compliance, risk, operations, sales, and customer support to deliver secure and compliant capabilities.
  • Support rollout, monitoring, and iteration of financial services capabilities, and define and track KPIs to measure performance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a strong emphasis on technical platforms or complex integrations.
  • Demonstrated success delivering checkout, payments, financing, or transactional systems in a DTC, ecommerce, automotive, or fintech context.
  • Experience working directly with external financial services or payment partners is strongly preferred.
  • Direct-to-consumer vehicle sales or order-to-delivery experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and data integration patterns.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale systems such as order management, payments platforms, CRM, ERP, or financial services platforms.
  • Comfort collaborating deeply with engineering on technical tradeoffs without acting as an engineering manager.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence product, engineering, finance, legal, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong product judgment and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
  • Able to work 4-5 days per week in the office and travel occasionally for company events.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
