Description

  • Act as the technical liaison for prospects and customers during the early stages of the sales process.
  • Co-create technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts with sales and product teams.
  • Guide customers in designing cloud architectures using Scaleway solutions.
  • Anticipate and resolve technical challenges to help accelerate deal closure.
  • Deliver clear value propositions tailored to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Conduct technical deep dives and architecture reviews with clients.
  • Collect customer feedback and relay insights to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Stay current on public cloud trends and competitor offerings, and share knowledge internally.
  • Contribute to the improvement of sales processes and documentation.
  • Support strategic roadmap discussions and participate in key industry events.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in cloud architecture or technical pre-sales roles.
  • Strong background in cloud computing, public cloud services, and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: Infrastructure as Code, Linux, DevOps practices, or application development.
  • Experience with datacenter infrastructure and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in both French and English.
  • Knowledge of open-source technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with private cloud architectures is a plus.
  • Experience as a technical speaker is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt communication depending on the audience, whether technical or business.
  • Autonomy and ownership of responsibilities.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn from the field and competitors.
  • Comfort working in a high-stakes, client-facing environment.
