Description

  • Develop and scale relationships with executive decision-makers across state, local, and education accounts throughout the East Coast.
  • Lead sales efforts for identity and security solutions across major metro areas, state capitols, higher education institutions, and large K-12 districts.
  • Position Saviynt’s solutions to support whole-of-state cybersecurity, digital identity modernization, and citizen service access initiatives.
  • Navigate public sector procurement processes and contract vehicles such as NASPO ValuePoint, NY OGS, MA CommBUYS, GSA Schedule 70, and Florida STC.
  • Proactively identify and pursue net-new opportunities across a large, fragmented territory.
  • Manage pipeline activity and CRM forecasting with discipline and accuracy.
  • Maintain a consistent presence across the territory through frequent travel to meet with CIOs, CISOs, and procurement leaders.
  • Align sales strategies to regional priorities, legislative cycles, governance structures, and funding sources.
  • Work closely with public sector stakeholders to translate technical value into mission and policy outcomes.
  • Own revenue and gross profit performance for the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Proven track record closing complex SLED deals across multiple East Coast jurisdictions.
  • Experience using state-specific contract vehicles and the formal RFP/RFQ process.
  • Ability to identify and capture funding from state general funds, IIJA/SLTT federal grants, and university research budgets.
  • Strong understanding of the unique governance models of both large K-12 districts and higher education systems.
  • Executive presence and comfort engaging with C-level public sector leaders.
  • Ability to adapt sales strategies to different legislative cycles, governance structures, and political climates.
  • High-energy, entrepreneurial ownership mindset with a collaborative but competitive approach.
  • Relentless focus on achieving revenue and gross profit quotas.
  • Experience selling into public sector markets across the East Coast, including state, local, and education segments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the assigned territory.
