Description

  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations that showcase solution architecture, configuration ease, and workflow intelligence to business and technical audiences.
  • Conduct detailed technical discovery and needs assessments to define and propose appropriate solutions for prospective customers.
  • Lead and execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) and manage POC scope, delivery, and customer interaction.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors, Regional VPs, and the global bid team to create and respond to RFx/RFP inquiries and drive opportunities to closure.
  • Assist product management and global bid teams in curating RFx responses and contribute technical input to product strategy.
  • Provide regular solution feedback and competitive intelligence from the field to product management, solutions strategy, and marketing teams.
  • Contribute to product marketing materials such as white papers, solution briefs, webinars, and blogs.
  • Mentor and coach Solutions Engineers on demonstration strategy, RFP responses, technical presentations, and POC execution.
  • Prioritize and independently manage top regional opportunities and maintain ownership of technical team relationships within existing and prospective accounts.
  • Travel internationally across the DACH region as required (up to 60%).

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Solutions Engineering experience with demonstrable success in Cloud Security, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Application GRC, and/or Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).
  • Domain expertise in PAM, IGA, Application GRC, and/or Cloud Security.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field, or equivalent knowledge demonstrated via technical certifications (e.g., ISACA, (ISC)², AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Security Engineer).
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% across the DACH region.
  • Experience with Identity Governance concepts including Identity Life Cycle Management, Entitlements Management, Access Request, Workflow, Policy and Role Management, Access Certification, Audit, Reporting/Analytics, and deployment scenarios.
  • Database query experience in relational and search environments (MySQL and Elasticsearch).
  • Experience with REST APIs, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph API.
  • Knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols and standards such as SAML, OAuth2, SCIM, OpenID Connect, WS-Trust, SPNEGO, x.509, SPML, Kerberos, REST, and JSON.
  • Understanding of data governance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and familiarity with compliance/security frameworks (e.g., SOX, NERC-CIP, HIPAA, COBIT, CIS, Cloud Security Alliance, NIST, PCI).
  • Experience with identity and directory technologies such as Azure AD, Okta, JumpCloud, OneLogin, PingDirectory, Active Directory, eDirectory, Oracle Internet Directory, Radiant Logic, and other Cloud/LDAP/virtual directories.
  • Basic networking knowledge (HTTP, TCP/IP, firewalls, encryption) and strong technical documentation skills (scope definitions, proposals, architecture and network diagrams).
