Description

  • Develop and enhance Marketing Mix Models to estimate the impact of media, promotions, pricing, seasonality, and other business drivers on performance.
  • Apply regression, time-series, econometric, and machine learning techniques to measure incremental impact and model carryover, saturation, diminishing returns, and response curves.
  • Develop scenario planning and optimization approaches to guide media budget allocation and investment decisions.
  • Evaluate model assumptions, uncertainty, and business plausibility using diagnostics, sensitivity analysis, and explainability methods.
  • Translate analytical outputs into clear recommendations on channel performance, ROI, and budget strategy for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with Marketing, Commercial, Finance, BI, and Data Engineering to define questions, KPIs, and success criteria.
  • Operationalize clean, reproducible analytical workflows across teams and data sources.
  • Support less-experienced colleagues and contribute to reusable methodologies and data science best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in Data Science, Marketing Science, Econometrics, or Commercial/Advanced Analytics delivering end-to-end modelling projects with business impact.
  • Hands-on experience with Marketing Mix Modeling, sales/demand forecasting, pricing and promotions analytics, econometric or time-series modeling, or budget/resource optimization.
  • Solid grounding in regression, statistical inference, hypothesis testing, feature engineering, and model validation.
  • Comfort working with trends, seasonality, and lagged effects.
  • Strong Python or R and SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, and window functions.
  • Experience with libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels, or SciPy, plus explainability tools like SHAP.
  • Fluent in commercial concepts such as ROI, ROAS, incremental revenue, margin, and market share.
  • Ability to independently structure and lead analytical workstreams, manage priorities, and communicate with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with Git or another version-control system.
  • Preferred: direct experience building or enhancing MMMs, including adstock, saturation, response curves, baseline decomposition, and incrementality.
  • Preferred: constrained mathematical optimization using SciPy Optimize, CVXPY, or Pyomo, and MMM frameworks such as Google Meridian, Meta Robyn, or LightweightMMM.
  • Preferred: causal inference, experiment design, geo-experiments, or incrementality testing, with comfort in Bayesian and frequentist approaches.
  • Preferred: experience with cloud and analytics platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
  • Preferred: exposure to MLflow, MLOps, Spark/PySpark, or Generative AI-assisted analytical workflows.
