Description

  • Own monthly and quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting for assigned departments or business units.
  • Build and maintain financial models for revenue, expenses, capacity planning, and scenario analysis.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insights and decision support.
  • Prepare variance analysis with clear, actionable commentary.
  • Develop and track operating KPIs and SaaS metrics, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Support board materials, investor reporting, executive presentations, reviews, and audits.
  • Evaluate SaaS and life sciences contracts under ASC 606, including performance obligations and variable consideration.
  • Analyze pricing, discounts, deal structures, margins, payment terms, and revenue impact.
  • Support contract approvals, quote-to-cash workflows, vendor management, procurement, and cost optimization.
  • Improve FP&A, close, reporting, billing, planning, and cross-functional processes and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting experience, including required SaaS industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition for SaaS and subscription models.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets financial modeling skills, including AI-enabled planning practices.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, as well as resource planning, vendor management, and CRM tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional partnering skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Life sciences or healthcare-adjacent experience strongly preferred.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Experience with a growth-stage or PE/VC-backed SaaS company preferred.
