Description

  • Lead and manage end-to-end payroll processing across weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and global payroll cycles.
  • Reconcile payroll before transmission and validate reports to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the payroll team.
  • Serve as the primary payroll contact for employees, auditors, and service providers on domestic and international payroll matters.
  • Ensure compliance with international payroll regulations, including tax equalization and withholding tax requirements.
  • Manage the timely filing of payroll-related compliance forms for global operations.
  • Identify and implement payroll process improvements, including global payroll tools and automation.
  • Collaborate with People, Legal, Accounting, and FP&A teams on payroll and equity issues.
  • Prepare monthly general ledger entries with the accounting team.
  • Create ad hoc and periodic payroll and finance reports for multiple departments and countries.
  • Oversee PTO management in collaboration with HR and local managers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant payroll management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role managing global payroll teams, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with multi-state and international payroll for exempt and nonexempt employees.
  • Strong people management and team-building skills.
  • Deep expertise in tax equalization and global payroll regulations and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and Deel payroll software.
  • Strong familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and working with auditors and external service providers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. and international payroll legislation.
  • Analytical, process-driven mindset with demonstrated experience improving payroll processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred; associate degree acceptable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and 10-key.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with international teams.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
