Description

  • Partner with the Global Renewals Sales organization to provide actionable insights into business drivers, financial performance, and risks
  • Develop and evolve key performance metrics to drive sales productivity and enable proactive business health monitoring
  • Own reporting on renewal bookings, pipeline, and forecasts on a quarterly and annual basis and analyze team performance to recommend improvements
  • Create strategic headcount, quota, and incentive plans in partnership with Renewals Sales leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Drive operational excellence by establishing repeatable, scalable sales processes that can be implemented across regions and segments
  • Develop and execute renewals strategy through operational playbooks, cross-functional alignment, and change management
  • Partner with Sales Operations and technical teams to prioritize process and system improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Innovate and accelerate go-to-market (GTM) strategies to expand and grow renewals
  • Prepare clear, executive-facing communications and content to keep senior leadership updated on business health and initiative progress
  • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles across the Renewals organization as it scales

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in an operational or strategic role supporting sales organizations
  • 2+ years of experience specifically with renewal functions closing $100M+ ARR
  • Experience designing, implementing, and scaling processes and policies for renewal functions
  • Comfort working with large data sets to perform modeling, forecasting, and sales analyses; experience in consulting, investment banking, or other highly quantitative roles
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, and other sales tech stack tools
  • Experience working with executive leadership and partnering closely with sales leadership
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced decision-making skills with the ability to be proactive and adapt quickly
  • Preferred: experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company (preferably public) with $1B+ in revenue
  • This role is open to candidates residing in the U.S. except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area

  • Annual on-target earnings (OTE) range: $136,850–$207,000 USD (varies by city of residence)
