Description

  • Drive the Annual Operating Planning (AOP) process across Sales and cross-functional teams from end to end.
  • Define strategic levers such as organizational changes and major investments, and help leaders turn long-term goals into executable plans.
  • Lead strategic projects that structure ambiguous problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analyses, and deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Lead change management across the go-to-market organization and support effective rollout of strategic changes globally.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Operations, Finance, Recruiting, and People Ops to build strong cross-functional relationships and alignment.
  • Guide Sales leaders through planning and strategic project outputs, incorporate feedback, and support execution.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, analyses, and talking points for planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify risks to growth goals and develop action plans to mitigate them.
  • Embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally and across new offices.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Strategy & Operations, or another analytical role.
  • Experience building trusting relationships and influencing others, including executive audiences.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills, with a deep sense of curiosity.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and has a bias for action.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely in verbal and written form.
  • Ability to synthesize broad information into a cohesive narrative.
  • Examples of impact from reenvisioning analytical work and cross-functional work with AI.
  • Deep expertise with analytical tools such as Tableau, Excel, Google Sheets, or Databricks.
  • Kind, collaborative orientation and enthusiasm for working with diverse teams across many functions.

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of $119,000 to $200,000 USD.
  • Above-market total compensation with base salary, performance-based bonus or variable pay, and equity for eligible roles.
