Description

  • Partner with Public Sector business operations and strategy leadership to refine go-to-market strategy across government and public sector segments.
  • Assess market trends such as procurement policy, budget cycles, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and prioritize initiatives.
  • Build and maintain analytical models to evaluate performance across teams, territories, segments, and products.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-enabled workflows and automation opportunities to improve analytical throughput and GTM scaling.
  • Present insights and recommendations in business reviews, executive briefings, and planning cycles using data-driven materials.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration to help the business meet growth targets and solve GTM challenges.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales into new markets.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in analytical roles such as Consulting, Business Operations, Sales Operations, Strategy, or GTM Analytics.
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with the ability to structure problems, analyze data, and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated fluency with Excel/Google Sheets, SQL/Databricks, and/or BI or visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Mode.
  • Working familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot, and interest in building or evaluating AI-assisted workflows.
  • Kind, collaborative, highly organized, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Highly communicative and able to work quickly in a remote environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and the demands of a high-growth company and sector.
  • Fully fluent in English.
  • Familiarity with Public Sector sales dynamics, including procurement cycles, contract vehicles, and compliance considerations, is preferred.
  • Experience building strong relationships and collaborating with cross-functional partners is preferred.
  • Track record of publishing AI products, workflows, or automations is preferred.
