Description

  • Lead the hardware product operations team responsible for successful hardware launches across the Operations organization.
  • Own cost, resilience, and supply chain enablement for new hardware launches, including non-recurring and product costs.
  • Partner with Program Managers, Engineering, Product Design, and Ops Engineering to maintain schedules and support ramp to mass production.
  • Serve as the key relationship owner for external joint development manufacturers (JDMs), including executive engagement and quarterly business reviews.
  • Build and maintain operational rigor around cost, resilience, and sustainability goals.
  • Champion Samsara’s operating principles and cultural values as the company scales globally.
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high-performing team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in hardware sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing new product launches within an operations organization.
  • Established people and team management skills with emerging organizational leadership skills.
  • Experience building long-term relationships with internal and external customers and guiding others to design and deliver solutions.
  • Ability to plan strategy and roadmap for the next 1-2 years, incorporating relevant input and influencing cross-functional strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology company preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate high-performing talent and engaged teams preferred.

  • Annual base salary range of $128,000 to $251,800 USD.
