Description

  • Contribute to the development of the web, mobile, and backend applications across the stack.
  • Partner with Product and Design to guide product direction, integrations, and technology decisions.
  • Participate actively in the product development process and share responsibility for the full product experience.
  • Integrate third-party technologies, including medical devices and electronic health records, into the platform.
  • Build mobile features and experiences using React Native.
  • Use generative AI techniques to add intelligence to the clinical platform.
  • Work closely with a small engineering team in a remote environment with some hybrid presence in New York.
  • Report to the Head of Engineering.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience engineering data-rich consumer applications.
  • Experience designing and building APIs for applications and consuming APIs in applications.
  • Strong opinions about what makes a quality API.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment with unanswered questions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Nice to have: experience with React web development.
  • Nice to have: experience with React Native or mobile app development in general.
  • Nice to have: experience with healthcare technology.
  • Nice to have: experience with LLMs as both a development tool and an application feature.
  • No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
