Description

  • Build and maintain relationships with distributor partners and end-users across the assigned six-state territory.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities to expand regional market presence.
  • Serve as a technical advisor and field sales engineer for existing and prospective customers.
  • Visit manufacturers, distributors, and key accounts regularly to support sales and partnership development.
  • Provide technical guidance to help customers optimize manufacturing operations.
  • Gather and relay market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to the company.
  • Develop high-touch, consultative sales relationships with a focus on long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • Strong background in manufacturing, machining, CNC processes, or a similar technical field.
  • Experience with cutting tools or tooling technology is highly preferred.
  • Proven success in a technical sales or product specialist role, ideally in manufacturing or tooling.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a consultative sales approach focused on relationship building.
  • Ability to independently manage a travel-heavy schedule.
  • Based in the Mid East U.S. / Great Lakes territory (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri).
  • Flexibility to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
