Description

  • Architect, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain distributed software systems at scale.
  • Serve as the technical lead and domain expert for the new identity and non-human identity security offering.
  • Partner with product management and engineering leadership to align technical architecture with business and product goals.
  • Build data pipelines to analyze, classify, correlate, and evaluate non-human identity tokens and permissions at enterprise scale.
  • Design extensible integrations that make it easy to onboard new SaaS platforms such as GitHub, Slack, and Salesforce.
  • Own end-to-end technical decisions, including system design trade-offs, production availability, performance, and fault tolerance.
  • Conduct design reviews, set engineering standards, and mentor other engineers.
  • Drive innovation across the software stack to address emerging security challenges.
  • Work in a high-velocity agile environment while maintaining architectural excellence.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of software engineering experience with a deep focus on backend architectures and distributed systems.
  • Proven experience designing, building, and operating production-grade cloud-native backend systems.
  • Experience building cloud-native products on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong experience with distributed architectures using messaging and streaming frameworks such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, or Celery.
  • Strong database modeling and query experience with SQL databases.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
  • Hands-on experience with asynchronous programming models such as asyncio or Goroutines.
  • Experience with production programming languages such as Python or Go.
  • Strong system design judgment and experience driving cross-team technical alignment and mentoring engineers.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, especially IAM, secret management, or non-human identity security, is an advantage.
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or relevant military experience, is an advantage.
