Description

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to federal customers and internal teams during pre-sales solution development.
  • Assist with the analysis, design, and development of fully integrated technology solutions.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise on Rubrik products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings.
  • Act as a technical consultant to develop and propose solutions that meet customer technology and business requirements.
  • Deliver technical and sales presentations to customer technical staff and senior management.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to customers and an internal resource on technical issues and business applications.
  • Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives.
  • Lead technical sales calls and support day-to-day account-level activities.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, competition, decision process, and funding.
  • Collaborate with Information Security on security and privacy controls, remediation, and compliance activities.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of sales engineering experience, preferably in a software or data center environment.
  • Fundamental technical knowledge of cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
  • Experience working with CxO-level personnel and translating technology solutions into business outcomes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple calls or demos per day with immediate follow-up.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and a "get it done" attitude.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to solve business challenges with technology solutions.
  • Ability to follow system-specific security policies and procedures and protect data and individual privacy.
  • Willingness to complete role-based training and comply with service, contractual, and security obligations.
  • Must be able to support federal background screening requirements, including Tier 1, Tier 2 (Public Trust), or CJIS checks depending on access.
  • Smart, adaptable, and open-minded approach to work.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $136,220 to $175,000 USD for SF Bay Area, DC Metro, NYC, and Seattle locations.
  • Base salary range of $129,430 to $175,000 USD for all other U.S. offices or remote locations.
  • Eligibility to earn commissions under the company's written Incentive Compensation Plan.
  • Eligibility for equity and benefits.
  • Remote work designation (#LI-Remote).
