Description

  • Act as the primary technical interface between customers and Armada's Product and Engineering teams.
  • Translate customer requirements, constraints, and feedback into actionable technical inputs for solution design and platform evolution.
  • Provide expert guidance on AI Factory offerings, including modular data centers, liquid-cooled designs, and GPU-based systems.
  • Understand customer workloads and advise on rack-level design, system architecture, and deployment tradeoffs.
  • Lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and workshops tailored to customer environments.
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with engineering, infrastructure, IT, OT, security, and executive stakeholders.
  • Enable sales and field teams by simplifying complex technical concepts into customer-relevant narratives.
  • Engage renewable energy, oil and gas, and power operators as a strategic customer segment for AI compute hosting.
  • Support AI datacenter co-location and neocloud customers with technical scoping and differentiated positioning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering to support engagements and inform future product strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on engineering experience; advanced engineering degrees are a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data center engineering, infrastructure engineering, pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution architecture.
  • Strong understanding of compute, networking, and storage fundamentals, including AI and GPU-based systems such as NVIDIA DGX, HGX, and MGX.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in data center environments.
  • Direct experience or strong familiarity with liquid-cooled data centers and/or modular data centers (MDCs).
  • Experience with rack-level design considerations and integrating compute, storage, and networking in constrained environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, virtualization, and modern enterprise infrastructure.
  • Ability to navigate both OT and IT stakeholders, especially in energy, industrial, or infrastructure-heavy environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort operating in complex, live customer environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel as required.
  • Preferred: experience in regulated or mission-critical environments such as energy, utilities, oil and gas, or industrial infrastructure.
  • Preferred: familiarity with power generation, distribution, energy economics, remote/off-grid deployment constraints, SCADA, or physical security considerations.
  • Preferred: some exposure to AI datacenter co-location, neocloud operating models, GPU cluster economics, or structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Command of the Message.
