Description

  • Act as the primary technical interface between customers and Armada’s Product and Engineering teams.
  • Translate customer requirements, constraints, and feedback into actionable technical inputs for solution design and platform evolution.
  • Provide technical guidance on AI Factory products, including modular data centers, liquid-cooled data center designs, and GPU-based systems.
  • Assess customer workloads and advise on rack-level design, system architecture, and deployment tradeoffs.
  • Lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and workshops tailored to customer needs and operating conditions.
  • Build trusted-advisor relationships with customer engineering, infrastructure, IT, OT, and security stakeholders.
  • Support field and sales teams by simplifying complex technical concepts into customer-relevant narratives.
  • Engage energy, co-location, and Neocloud customers to position Armada’s infrastructure for capacity expansion and rapid deployment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering on customer engagements, technical scoping, and solution design.
  • Stay current on AI infrastructure, data center design, liquid cooling, modular systems, and energy-sector trends to inform internal strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on engineering experience; advanced engineering degrees are a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data center engineering, infrastructure engineering, pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution architecture.
  • Deep technical knowledge of compute, networking, and storage fundamentals, including AI and GPU-based systems such as NVIDIA DGX, HGX, or MGX.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in data centers.
  • Experience with cooling architectures, especially liquid-cooled data centers and/or modular data centers (MDCs).
  • Experience with racking and rack-level design considerations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, virtualization, and modern enterprise infrastructure.
  • Ability to navigate both OT and IT stakeholders, especially in energy, industrial, and infrastructure-heavy environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort operating in complex, live customer environments.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging both highly technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Preferred: experience supporting customers in regulated or mission-critical environments such as energy, utilities, oil and gas, or industrial infrastructure.
  • Preferred: background in or exposure to renewable energy operators, independent power producers, or upstream oil and gas companies.
  • Preferred: familiarity with power generation, distribution, energy economics, remote/off-grid deployment constraints, SCADA, and operational reliability requirements.
  • Preferred: high-level understanding of AI workloads, GPU clusters, AI frameworks, and edge/distributed AI architectures.
  • Preferred: experience with electrical systems such as PDUs and UPS, water-based cooling systems, controls, monitoring, redundancy, and resilience.
  • Preferred: familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Command of the Message.
