Description

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to Rubrik, customers, and prospects for cloud-native data protection solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor and public cloud subject matter expert for key accounts.
  • Lead technical sales calls, gather customer feedback, and identify trends.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on technical requirements, competition, decision-making process, and funding.
  • Maintain regular alignment with product management on roadmap priorities and customer demands.
  • Assist in developing marketing and sales collateral to ensure technical accuracy and customer relevance.
  • Help create and deliver technical enablement for Rubrik, channel, and alliance partner sales architects.
  • Drive adoption of Rubrik's cloud-native protection technologies across Rubrik and the public cloud ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales engineering experience in a cloud and/or unstructured data environment with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Additional experience with AWS, GCP, private cloud infrastructure, and/or security solutions is preferred.
  • Fundamental technical knowledge of cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
  • Experience working with CxO-level stakeholders and translating business challenges into technology solutions.
  • High business acumen and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong hands-on, entrepreneurial, resourceful, and adaptable approach.
  • Ability to handle multiple calls and demos per day with immediate follow-up.
  • Interest in working on cloud-native data protection, cloud licensing, and security-related solutions.
