Description

  • Provide technical leadership and direction to customers and internal teams during pre-sales activities.
  • Assist with the analysis, design, and development of fully integrated technology solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Rubrik products, distributed architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings.
  • Act as a technical expert and consultant to propose solutions that meet customer technology and business requirements.
  • Deliver technical and sales presentations to customer technical staff and senior management.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor and internal resource on technical issues and business applications.
  • Build relationships with account teams, partners, and customers to support sales objectives.
  • Lead technical sales calls.
  • Qualify sales opportunities based on customer technical requirements, competition, decision-making process, and funding.
  • Drive technical programs and manage day-to-day account-level activities to support regional revenue goals.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of sales engineering experience, preferably in a software or data center environment.
  • Broad technical knowledge of cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery, and data analytics.
  • Experience working with CxO-level stakeholders and translating technology into business solutions.
  • Strong hands-on, high-energy, and entrepreneurial approach with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple calls and demos per day and immediate follow-up.
  • Technical familiarity with Rubrik’s product areas, distributed architectures, file systems, and SAN storage offerings.
  • Highly adaptable, open-minded, and resourceful.
  • Experience in a regional sales support role focused on pre-sales activities (preferred).
