Description

  • Own all elements of bookings growth in assigned Federal territory, including new and existing accounts.
  • Define and execute territory sales plans to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing opportunities.
  • Generate and manage a robust sales pipeline, moving a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and daily pipeline generation activities to discover and develop new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Sales Development, Channel Development, and Rubrik Channel Partners to execute account strategies and accelerate growth.
  • Present Rubrik solutions within complex data center design and federal IT environments to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Co-sell and strategize with partners, distributors, and VARs to enable rapid growth and drive joint opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback to Rubrik management, identifying new business opportunities and potential channel partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of successful sales experience in technology (software or data center).
  • Established tenure in the Federal territory with a strong rolodex of Federal customers and channel contacts across civilian agencies (State, DOT, Amtrak, USPS, HUD, FAA).
  • Proven “hunter” with demonstrated new-logo attainment in Civilian targets and a track record of pipeline growth and outbound prospecting.
  • Consistent closer with a history of over-achieving sales goals across large geographic territories.
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and a “get it done” attitude; adaptable and open-minded.
  • Ability to complete role-based training and follow system-specific security and privacy policies.
  • Willingness to undergo required background checks and periodic re-screening (may include Standard Form 85/85P, Tier 1 or Tier 2 investigations, and fingerprint-based criminal history checks for CJIS access).

Benefits

  • Base salary range for U.S. locations: $150,000–$165,000 USD (new hire target range).
  • Eligible to earn commissions pursuant to the company’s written Incentive Compensation Plan.
