Description

  • Lead the technical design and development of the web portal as the React/Next.js expert on the project.
  • Collaborate with the Dev Lead to design a robust, scalable solution architecture that meets business needs.
  • Guide the development team in best practices for portal implementation and code quality.
  • Optimize portal performance to meet technical and business benchmarks.
  • Oversee testing and quality assurance to ensure alignment with project standards and requirements.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Product Owner, and Scrum Master to support successful delivery.
  • Communicate technical insights, progress updates, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Stay current with the latest React features and industry trends to improve project outcomes.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members to improve their React competency.
  • Identify technical risks and help develop mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the main technical contact for frontend development and coordinate with external vendors when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with React and the Nest.js framework.
  • Proven experience as an intermediate frontend developer on large-scale web portal projects.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Redux, and modern front-end build pipelines such as Webpack.
  • Proficiency with Nest.js, including TypeScript, API development, and databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and message queues such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment workflows.
  • Experience in Agile environments working closely with Scrum teams.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
