Description

  • Design, develop, test and deploy bots and automation processes using Automation Anywhere Automation 360.
  • Build and configure Document Automation learning instances for classification, extraction, validation and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Integrate AI and cloud services such as Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Document Intelligence into automation solutions.
  • Design OCR and intelligent document processing pipelines for structured, semi-structured and unstructured documents.
  • Develop automations that work reliably in Citrix, VDI and other locked-down enterprise environments.
  • Design robust exception handling, retry, recovery, logging and escalation patterns.
  • Integrate automation solutions with enterprise applications through REST APIs, databases, files, queues and user interfaces.
  • Produce and maintain solution documentation, deployment instructions and operational support materials.
  • Participate in process discovery and solution design workshops with client stakeholders and subject-matter experts.
  • Conduct unit testing, peer reviews, defect resolution, system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Support deployments, production releases, hypercare and incident resolution.
  • Assist with Control Room administration, including deployment, scheduling, credentials, access controls and monitoring.
  • Work with architects, infrastructure teams and security stakeholders to ensure security, governance and compliance requirements are met.
  • Contribute to reusable components, development standards and continuous improvement across the delivery practice.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced developers where needed.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of recent hands-on Automation Anywhere development experience, including substantial experience with Automation 360.
  • Proven experience designing, developing and deploying production-grade enterprise automations.
  • Practical experience with Automation Anywhere Document Automation or comparable intelligent document processing tools such as IQ Bot, ABBYY or Azure AI Document Intelligence.
  • Experience creating and configuring document-processing models or learning instances with extraction, validation and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs, cloud services and AI capabilities into automation workflows.
  • Strong understanding of OCR concepts, document quality considerations, confidence thresholds and extraction limitations.
  • Experience developing automations for Citrix, VDI or other restricted enterprise environments.
  • Scripting or software development ability in at least one of Python, JavaScript or VBScript.
  • Strong knowledge of exception handling, logging, retry mechanisms, recovery processes and production support.
  • Experience with Control Room deployment, scheduling and operational administration.
  • Experience producing technical documentation such as PDDs and SDDs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and confidence working directly with client stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership within a multidisciplinary delivery team.
  • Automation Anywhere professional certification appropriate to experience level (desirable).
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Document Intelligence or similar cloud-based AI/document-processing services (desirable).
  • Experience designing solutions involving generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation or AI agents (desirable).
  • Knowledge of secure prompt design, model governance, data privacy and responsible AI controls (desirable).
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases and enterprise data integration (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, source control, branching and release-management practices (desirable).
  • Experience with CI/CD processes for automation development and deployment (desirable).
  • Knowledge of process-assessment or process-mining techniques (desirable).
  • Experience working in regulated or security-conscious sectors (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methods such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and demonstrations (desirable).
  • Experience mentoring developers or providing technical assurance and code-review support (desirable).
  • Knowledge of additional automation platforms or intelligent automation technologies (desirable).
