Description

  • Generate new revenue with new and existing accounts in collaboration with sales and client management teams.
  • Support the solutions discovery process by assessing technical, functional, and value-proposition fit for retailer and brand solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proofs of concept, strategic recommendations, and product demonstrations in person and via screen share.
  • Evaluate client business goals, data needs, and systems integration requirements, then recommend effective strategies to meet them.
  • Generate ROI analyses, revenue and cost forecasts, and respond to RFIs and RFPs.
  • Communicate market feedback to product management and services to inform future product and service development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a strong handoff to service teams and document goals and requirements from the sales cycle.
  • Engage with clients, technical teams, and C-level executives throughout presales engagements.
  • Synthesize client feedback, competitive insights, and industry information to improve product and service delivery.
  • Apply strong business judgment and leadership to serve as a trusted expert resource for clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of presales experience focused on consultative sales of enterprise software and services.
  • Experience supporting teams closing six-figure contracts against seven-figure targets.
  • Understanding of client challenges within the retail and/or e-commerce industries.
  • Knowledge of the retail partner ecosystem, including marketplaces.
  • Driven, polished, technology-proficient professional.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or discipline (preferred).
  • Technical working knowledge of API integrations, including REST and SOAP (preferred).
  • Experience with online retail or brand-focused solutions (preferred).
  • Familiarity with common enterprise back-end system solutions, configurations, and core requirements (preferred).
  • Up to 10% travel required.

  • Base salary range of $100,000 to $145,000 per year.
  • Expected sales incentive range of $38,571 to $68,357.
