Description

  • Own end-to-end payroll processing for Spain, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia with local providers and payroll systems.
  • Conduct payroll audits and reconciliations to maintain data accuracy, compliance, and integrity.
  • Manage statutory payroll filings and reporting in line with local requirements in each country.
  • Maintain audit-ready payroll records, including process and control documentation.
  • Administer employee benefits programs across all regions, including health, pension, life insurance, and statutory benefits.
  • Support annual benefits renewals, including vendor coordination, employee communications, and system updates.
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for local benefits brokers and vendors to resolve enrollment and service issues.
  • Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries from employees and external partners in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding from a payroll and benefits perspective.
  • Partner with Finance, People Operations, Legal, and external vendors on reconciliation, month-end close, and service delivery.
  • Use AI and automation tools to improve payroll and benefits processes and support scalability.
  • Contribute to payroll system integrations, testing, enhancements, and related process improvement projects.
  • Stay current on international payroll and employment legislation changes and communicate impacts to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of international payroll and/or benefits administration experience.
  • Direct hands-on experience in at least two of the following countries: Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland, or Australia.
  • Working knowledge of statutory payroll and benefits requirements across EMEA and/or APAC markets, with particular depth in Spain preferred.
  • Experience with payroll platforms such as CloudPay or similar systems.
  • Solid understanding of global payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing payroll audits, reconciliations, and compliance reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present payroll data clearly.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with international teams.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • 3+ years of international payroll and benefits experience across all four EMEA/APAC regions is preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and calculations.
  • Experience supporting benefits renewals and vendor management internationally is preferred.
  • Global mindset with cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity is preferred.
  • High integrity and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, globally distributed environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
