Description

  • Source and engage candidates through social media, professional organizations, specialty job boards, and other outreach channels to build talent pipelines.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements and ideal candidate profiles for technical and non-technical roles.
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, including candidate communication, qualification screening, phone screens, interview scheduling, and candidate evaluation.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with government regulations and security clearance requirements.
  • Monitor labor market trends and advise hiring managers on talent acquisition strategies.
  • Promote Ripple Effect through professional networks, social media channels, and in-person events to expand recruiting reach.
  • Identify and support new talent acquisition outreach activities, especially in science and healthcare markets.
  • Support recruiting efforts for both internal teams and client-facing roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience required; additional education may substitute for experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and full recruiting lifecycle management.
  • At least 2 years of experience sourcing passive candidates.
  • At least 2 years of experience recruiting in the government contracting industry with extensive recruitment networks.
  • Experience with applicant vetting, including behavior-based interviewing, skills assessments, and competency-based hiring, especially in science and healthcare markets.
  • Experience with employment law and regulations such as EEO and FLSA.
  • Intermediate experience with candidate sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, and Handshake.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, independent work habits, and a drive to learn.
  • Certification in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR such as CIR, CDR, SHRM-CP, or TAS is preferred.
  • Experience using social media for recruiting marketing and outreach is preferred.
  • Experience with compensation programs, including job benchmarking, pay structures, compensation guidelines, and compa-ratios, is preferred.
  • Experience with AI tools, including their limitations, risks, and lawful application to recruiting tasks, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of and proficiency in the Workable ATS is preferred.
  • Local to the DC metropolitan area and able to attend occasional in-person meetings or local career fairs is strongly preferred.
