Description

  • Lead the global month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Oversee global entity consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for the annual financial statement audit and manage audit schedules, documentation, and technical accounting support.
  • Draft accounting memos and documentation for significant, unusual, or complex transactions.
  • Oversee accounting operations across the general ledger, accounts payable, revenue recognition, and travel and expense.
  • Manage intercompany accounting, fixed asset accounting, and lease accounting processes and systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, workflow enhancements, and accounting automation initiatives.
  • Support indirect tax compliance, including sales tax, property tax, and use tax filings.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff while partnering with finance, FP&A, and operational leaders across U.S. and international teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • CPA license is preferred.
  • 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience is required.
  • Combination of public accounting and industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a private equity-backed or highly acquisitive organization is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements is required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing accounting teams and complex close processes is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation processes is required.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders is required.
